The Full Range "Full House" Internal Throwdown - What You Need to Know

Full Range will be hosting it's first-ever, in-house, members-only competition on Saturday, April 16th.  This will be a two-person team event (1 male and 1 female), with two divisions that we are tentatively calling RX and Scaled. The purpose of this event is to provide a fun, supportive atmosphere in which EVERYONE from the gym can compete and test themselves.  Each team will tackle 4 tests of fitness, across a broad spectrum of time and modal domains.  While there will be prizes (and bragging rights) for the top teams in each division, everyone who competes will gain knowledge about themselves, their areas of strength and weakness, how they perform when it's "go-time," while also having a great time!

Divisions:

Here are the standards for each division (Please note, if you are unsure which division to choose, your coaches are available to help you decide!):RX (Male/Female):Pull-upsDouble UndersKettlebell Swing: 32/24kgDeadlift: 225/155Clean: 155/105 lbShoulder to Overhead: 135/95 lbSnatch: 115/75 lbToes to Bar

Timing:

The throwdown will start promptly at 8am, and our goal is to be finished by 2pm.  We respect everyone's time, and do not want to take up your entire Saturday.  That being said, if anyone has scheduling issues and can make it for MOST of the event, please let us know and we will do our best to figure out a substitute for you (if several people are in this boat, we can possibly combine the remnants of some teams for the final event).

Registering/Finding a Teammate:

This is a male/female partner competition, so find someone that will be in the same division as you are, as defined by the standards above. We have only one rule regarding who can and cannot partner together: if you finished in the top 3 in the gym on ANY of the 2016 Open workouts, you cannot be with someone who also finished in the top 3.To register, please head over and fill out the Google Doc here: http://goo.gl/forms/LveJUusrYT*Note, if you do not have a partner, you can still register!  We will help pair people up that fill out this box on the form. There is a $10 registration fee ($20/team), that you can add to your account by heading here: https://fullrange.sites.zenplanner.com/event.cfm?eventId=3377F2C1-71D1-436A-A947-C873AC587AD9(Don't worry, if you forget, we know where to find you).

This is our first time holding an internal throwdown, and we are confident that it is going to be a lot of fun!  We will be releasing the workouts in the coming days/weeks, so please RSVP via Facebook to stay current.  You can also comment on the Event page if you are looking for a partner! We look forward to seeing you all on April 16th!!
